Harvester is a point-and-click adventure. The player must visit various locations in Harvest, via overhead map, and speak to various townspeople and click special "hotspots" at each location to learn important information or to collect items to progress through the game. The items he collects will be shown on a special inventory screen, which can be accessed by clicking on Steve. The game's progress can be saved through multiple savestates.

Harvester also features a fighting system, which is rarely found in the adventure genre. The player can attack other characters by selecting a weapon item then (right-)clicking on the target character. Accordingly, the player's character also has limited health and can die. However, although many puzzles have an alternate "solution" involving killing another character, the game is largely a traditional inventory-based puzzle adventure.

 Broken Sword: The Angel of Death uses both a point and click and direct control interface. The player guides George Stobbart's movements with a mouse or keyboard, and Nicole Collard is also a playable character in selected portions of the game. George must collect objects that can be used with other collectible objects, parts of the scenery, or other people in the game world to solve puzzles and progress in the game. George can engage in dialogue with other characters through conversation trees to gain hints of what needs to be done to solve the puzzles or to progress the plot. As in the first three Broken Sword games, the death of the player character is possible in The Angel of Death.

After the events in The Sleeping Dragon, George Stobbart is running a bail bonds office in New York with his partner Virgin. George meets Anna Maria, a girl with an old manuscript who wants his help to decode it. A group of mobsters after the manuscript ransack Anna Maria's hotel room, as well as George's bail bonds office, and steal the manuscript. George discovers that the mobsters are led by Fingers Martino, who runs an old meat packing factory. George sneaks into the factory and overhears a conversation between Fingers and Mr. Spallacci, who has obtained the manuscript. George manages to covertly take back the manuscript, which he examines with Anna Maria. George figures out that the fortified city on it must be Istanbul.

Ace Ventura: The CD-Rom Game is an adventure game for the PC by 7th Level based on the TV cartoon "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective". It resembles "Leisure Suit Larry" in the way it treats adult material: there's no explicit nudity or pornographic scenes, but the dialogues, the jokes, the actions and the thoughts of the animal-loving hero go certainly in this direction.

The interface in the game is very simple. You make Ace walk around by clicking on the screen, and tell him to interact with objects by clicking on them. At any time, Ace can access his watch, where settings can be changed and the game saved. Some puzzles are classic "use item on item" adventure fare, but there are lots of action mini-games.

The various puzzle-filled scenes are sporadically broken up by arcade-lite action. Slightly challenging tasks like swimming through the murky waters of the deep, avoiding trash and oil slicks, and getting in a basic laser fight are a nice way to mix things up.

 It's Ace's lowbrow humor that makes this a fun game to play. As in a lot of adventure games, long, drawn-out stories are told in between each level. But refreshingly, the scenes are actually entertaining - a good thing, since there's no way to skip them. You'll likely cruise through this title with ease, but you'll have plenty of fun getting there.
